The Berkshire Golf Club - Ascot, Berkshire

The Berkshire is a stunning and beautiful heathland course, the mature trees, the rolling fairways, the rugged looking bunkers and the gorgeous heather make it look as though the course was always there, just another natural feature of the land.

I played the Blue course and right from the start the pressure is on unless you aim for the bail out area off to the left of the green, anything coming up short seems to take a dive right into the bunker, all of this in full view of the clubhouse occupants.

Everyone I met gave me a warm welcome and the entire golf experience was just superb in one of the most natural looking environments we have ever had the pleasure of playing in.
