The parkland layout at Donnington Grove, accompanied by the Gothic hotel, is overlooked by Donnington Castle. Offering a stern test for most golfers with a good selection of tees ensuring that it is playable for everyone. The higher ground of the front nine provides great views but leaves you exposed to the elements, while the back nine requires negotiating the tree lined fairways and water features.
A unique account of an Amateur Golfer's journey around the country, giving a personal narrative of his golfing experiences.

Meon Valley Golf Club - Hampshire
The Meon is a beautifully laid out undulating parkland course with quite a few water hazards while the Valley is very picturesque set amongst an ancient Roman villa, shorter than the Meon but just as challenging.
